Teens Hurt Because Of Curfew

Police say the four Anderson Township boys were out past curfew and were trying to avoid being caught by cops when they made a critical mistake and were hurt early Wednesday morning.

The teens were walking on Paddison Road just after 1 a.m. when they thought they saw a police cruiser. To avoid a curfew violation, the young men jumped off the roadside and into the woods. That's when three of them fell down a 15 foot drop into a creek bed.

The fourth boy was able to get a cell phone and call 9-1-1. The three injured teens were taken to Children's Hospital where they remain this morning. Two of the boys... a 15 and 16 year old... suffered serious injuries. A third minor injuries.
