My Teachers Suck

They are hypocrites:
In my school i have someone in particular to prove this statement. She was our english teacher last year, and just happens to be our principal as well, which makes it even worse because anyone that argues with her is at her mercy, which isn't pretty, believe me. She says "Don't just believe everything people tell you, use constructive critical thinking. Make your own opinions." Which is a cool statement, now if only she could stick to it. If she says something i don't agree with, i will, of course, tell her i don't agree. She will then proceed to ask me "Exactly what do you think then?" So i tell her. And then she will ask "But WHY do you think that?" At this point i'm starting to get annoyed, so i say "That's just the way i see it" She replies "That's not an acceptable answer. You must be able to provide a reason. You have to learn to think constructively." Sure.  I don't tell HER that when she gives her little opinion and doesn't "provide a reason". I was just giving my own opinion. I wasn't doing it for marks, I was only trying to talk to her.  Looks like she would rather give me marks than let me talk to her for real.

They forget anything when it suits them:
Another thing, some teachers (especially one in particular) at my school have this really bad habit of "forgetting" what they say. One week they say "You must bring your language books on Mondays" Monday comes, we all bring our language books, and get crapped out cause we didn't bring any poetry. We say "No we're supposed to have language today, poetry is on Thursdays." They say "No, remember, I told you we have poetry on Mondays and language on Fridays. You people simply didn't do your homework and are using the books as an excuse. I'm putting your names down for detention" Detention for what? Following instructions? Since when is that a bad thing?! Meanwhile we really didn't do our homework, because it was for Thursday. Oh, no but they just forgot that little detail didn't they.  Try and talk to the principal and she's never on your side. Interrupts you every time you try to explain and questions everything you say. No, her "excellent, highly qualified, brilliant" teachers can never be wrong, oh no.

They want to control people:
This is especially right in my school. Maby cause it's so small.... whatever.  Let me talk about my principal for the perfect example:  She's the Big Cheese of the school. She has this extremely irritating way of "knowing" everyone.  She is convinced that she really understands us and everything about us. So, since she "understands" us so well, she is of course perfeclty capable of being able to decide what's good for our lives and whats not. She tells us exactly what she feels is best for us. We argue, but of course we're wrong because she knows us too well..  thats weird, surely i know myself better than anyone else does?   How can someone that runs the school you're in, doesn't ever really see your honest side, and doesn't communicate with you much, know you better than you know yourself? I mean, nobody likes her one bit but they're all nice to her.  She never sees the hateful honest side, and can't read our minds either.  She never sees us much outside of schooltime.  All she can know about us is they way we act when she's around.... believe me, there's no way she can get anywhere near understanding us from only that :)
