Aussies rebel over Internet censorship

INTERNET HACKERS connected with the group Anonymous, which is better known for its attacks against Scientology, have launched a campaign against Australian government websites.

The group is protesting against the Australian government's determination to censor its citizens' Internet connections.

The government has indicated that as part of its censorship campaign all pictures of small breasted women will be banned. Australians will also be forbidden to see images of women having orgasms too. Apparently all sheilas in Australia must have ample breasts and not make any sort of spashy display when they orgasm.

All this explains the name of the hacking campaign, "Operation Titstorm", which they say is because the government is not keeping abreast of modern society.

A spokeswoman for Communications Minister Stephen Conroy said the attacks are not a legitimate form of political statement. They were "totally irresponsible and potentially deny services to the Australian public". After all denying services to citizens is the Aussie government's job.

Anonymous is a loosely connected group of online pranksters who come together to work towards certain goals, such as the eradication of the Church of Scientology or blocking perceived threats to Internet freedom.

In an email sent to media, Anonymous said that no government should have the right to refuse its citizens access to information solely because they perceive it to be 'unwanted'.

According to a recruitment poster for the campaign the attacks on the websites would be followed by "a shitstorm of porn email, fax spam, black faxes and prank phone calls to government offices." Guidelines suggest that emails and faxes should focus on small-breasted porn, cartoon porn and female ejaculation, all of which the government wants to ban.

Anti-censorship groups in Australia, including stopinternetcensorship.org and the System Administrators Guild of Australia have condemned the attacks, saying they do more harm than good.
