This is a poem I wrote about my school.

There used to be respect here
when it wasn't in demand
excellence in atmosphere
kindness all around
but advertising those facts
wouldn't work in this town

emphasizing other things
removing many choices
one by one they disappear
silencing our voices

you protect yourself from open minds
as you shrug the blame away
took a chance with one of a kind
and then lied to save your name

you started by ignoring
and slowly grew to greed
now all the good has fallen
because of one bad seed.

OMG i am at school wright now!!! i cnt beleive that the school approved this site when its all about hating school!! i love your poem. all about how one person affects everything!!!!! but ya dont ever go to my school it sucks!!!!!!

This poem is not here to be graded or classified, it's here to be read, and to give off a deeper sense of feeling than rhythm.

What started as a great system turned out corrupted because of one small crack in the rock. It really surprised me, and I must thank you for sharing this with us. If grading was appropriate, full marks with a very good would be the result :)
