Iraq War Veteran Sues Michael Moore For $85 million

Peter Damon, a National Guardsman from Middleborough, has announced he is suing Fahrenheit 9/11 filmaker Michael Moore for $85 million dollars.

Damon is claiming that Moore used a video interview of Damon which portrayed him as anti-war. Damon states that his interview was taken out of context and that his original interview refered to the pain he was in during an incident during which he lost both of his arms. Damon is suing Moore on the grounds that he lost his of reputation, suffered emotional distress, embarrassment, and personal humiliation. Moore decline to comment on the lawsuit.
