A geyser erupts in a New zealand school, no shit!

The phenomenon burst open at Rotorua Primary School, on the North Island, yesterday, according to wire reports.

The Fire Service said it was lucky the geyser didn't blow on a school day.

Principal John Naera was quoted as satying the explosion was in an area which was fenced off because it was most likely to be prone to geothermal activity.

Geothermal experts planned to cool the heat source down, he said.

Rotorua is famous for its bubbling thermal pools and the Pohutu geyser that hurls boiling water metres into the air.
