Recently, several school districts throughout the country passed codes that allow them to police what students publish online, even if it was not published at school.

We are here to stop them. Schools have NO authority to police what students place on their webpages so long as it is not threatening to school faculty, staff, or students. If you do not want to be unjustly punished for posting your opinion online, then read on!

On this site, you will find guidelines for making your blog unpolicable, information on how to safely (without fear of school retaliation) protest any school rules that allow your school to punish you for what you post online, free publicity on our "Network Sites" page for anyone who has an anonymous website, a free mailing list so that you can be kept up to date on new developments and organized actions, and an additional links page that contains a TON of information that your school undoubtedly does no want you to have.

Mission Statement
We exist for the sole purpose of defending students' and teens' right to free speech and free expression when they are online as well as offline. Our members have no names; and as such they cannot be punished for having an opinion. We encourage all who visit this site to defend their rights guaranteed in the first amendment and to fight any rule that oppresses such rights.
