Teen Group Sues West Palm Beach Over Curfew Law
(3 Comments)A national youth rights group has filed a lawsuit against the city of West Palm Beach, claiming a teen curfew law is unconstitutional.
Jeffrey Nadel, president and founder of the National Youth Rights Association of Southeast Florida, made the announcement Tuesday at 10:01 p.m., a minute after the curfew took effect.
The ordinance bars anyone under the age of 18 from the downtown district without a parent after 10 p.m. on weeknights and 11 p.m. on weekends.Nadel said the curfew unfairly targets young people and violates their First Amendment rights.
"This is the beginning of a new era of youth empowerment, one in which youth will not allow their rights to be trampled upon and one in which youth will stand up for their rights," Nadel said.
The Boca Raton-based teen group said they have already met with city leaders to try to amicably resolve their differences, but the city won't back down.

Does anyone know how this turned out?
10:01 PM. That's awesome lol
That was fast.
One moment we're in our rights, the next after a word from a worthless politician, we're doing illegal acts. I;m really getting mixed signals, world, am I being a bad boy or a good boy? I can't tell with dick moves like this being played.
