Exam leak - accused in court
A teacher and two pupils appeared in court after they were found in possession of leaked 2009 matric examination papers, Mpumalanga police said on Friday.
The teacher, Milton Msimango, was released on R3 000 bail in the Nelspruit Magistrate's Court while the two pupils, Patience Mkhantshwa and Charity Xulu, were released on R1 000 bail on Thursday.
Captain Leonard Hlathi said another pupil, aged 17, was arrested on the same charge at another school in Nelspruit. He was due to appear in court on Friday.
The three others, from Trinity College in Nelspruit, will appear in court again on November 13.
The trio were found in possession of examination papers for Mathematics Paper 1 and 2, Physical Science Paper 1 and 2, and Accounting.
"We have charged them with breaching the Control Access Information Act of 2000," said Hlathi. - Sapa
