Heads predict chaos if ban goes ahead
Britain's biggest classroom teaching union yesterday gave the go-ahead for a ballot for a boycott of next spring's national tests for seven- and 11-year-olds in England. The move jeopardises the tests due to be taken by millions of primary school children and may result in the most serious educational disruption for more than 10 years.
