Kid suspended for 10 days for talking to mother.
A high school boy was suspended for ten days for talking on a cell phone to his mother in Iraq and then failing to obey teachers by ending the call. Teachers called his actions "defiant."

hey, i was gonna post that!! there was a big article in my paper. he was suspended for "disorderly conduct"
I can't believe this kid's defiance! If he can't follow a simple order like that, he'll never be able to become a factory worker. After all, that's what schools train you to do.
That is a disgrace. Suspension for talking on the phone? I mean during lesson time OK, but his mother was in Iraq so they should make exceptions because of time differences and such and also: who said he had to listen to his teachers - his teachers.
What the hell?! I talk on my phone at school and nobody gives a shit! Come on, it was his mom! Since our wonderful country is a place where everyone sues everyone for no apparent reason, maybe this kid should sue the school for being insensitive asswipes.
