Another show of christian's butting their nose's in things they should just fuck off on.
I find it funny how my granndma who is a super christian tried to fuck with me because I don't bend to authority.
I guess kissing Their God's ass all day made them kiss ass to any authority figure.
Tis is bull crap. I listen to rock music. SO WHAT?! I'm just fine. I had a mind of my own looooong before I heard rock. *facepalm* Fail.
lol... *facepalm*
What a bunch of idiots.
I saw this too. Makes me sad... This shows how much people like to restrict others freedom. It just makes Christians look bad.
-The handbook for the 84-student Christian school says rock music "is part of the counterculture which seeks to implant seeds of rebellion in young people's hearts and minds."-
First of all, it doesn't implant anything. Songwriters have their own opinions and views which are important to them. They use music (rock, blues, country, folk, rap... etc.) to express this, if you don't like it then don't listen.
Anyway, why is rebellion a bad thing? Shouldn't we rebel against governments and things in society we see as wrong? The founding Fathers did, and Jesus wasn't too popular with authority when he was here.
Stop butting in on his personal business!
Oh look, religious interference.
...Nothing new.
People like this are what drive others away from Christianity.
if it is off school property, then why do they care?
"In life, we constantly make decisions whether we are going to please self or please God. (Frost) chose one path, and the school committee chose the other," England said.
HA! What the fuck? Are you serious? Dumb shits, it's not like if there is a god, he/she would want people to live on earth like robots.
The handbook for the 84-student Christian school says rock music "is part of the counterculture which seeks to implant seeds of rebellion in young people's hearts and minds."
God I can't believe religion, setting rules for people to follow without thinking for themselves, why do you think "god" gave us free will? To just blindly obey some official and waste our lives that could have so much potential? Secondly, rock will not lead kids into rebellious aggressive actions. I wished school would burn in hell before I ever even knew what music was. Thinking that songs like Dream On by Aerosmith and Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin will make you rebel? GOD SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPPPPPIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Well, look, another reason for me to distance myself from any organized religion.
And they wonder why christianity is slowly dying out.
I think that I would whither away and die if forced to go to Catholic school. At least, I would if I didn't get expelled for hacking their computer system or blowing someting up, first.
Everything regarding the Christian school has already been said, but I am going to question the public school's actions. Why do they require a principal's signature to have a student from a different school attend the prom?
im a catholic (startin to turn agnostic) and rock isnt a big deal but cetain chrishtin religions are strickter.
