'Technikons belong in apartheid's rubbish'
SOUTH AFRICA: It is now possible to graduate from Nelson Mandela University, after Minister of Education Kader Asmal announced the new names of tertiary education institutions in South Africa. And technikons will also be given a new moniker, after he declared that the "name technikon be thrown into the rubbish bin of undistinguished apartheid measures."
