Teenager sworn in as mayor of Oregon town
Kyle Corbin has been sworn in as the mayor of Union, Oregon -- even though he's barely old enough to vote himself.
And in his first hours on the job, the 18-year-old mayor is calling for unity in Union.
The university freshman conducted his first City Council meeting two months after he was elected as a write-in candidate. At the time he was 17 -- too young to even to get his name on the ballot.
His long-shot campaign succeeded after two officials were recalled last year in the Eastern Oregon community of 2,000.

hopefully if this goes well the whole stupid age of candidancy thing will fall, as its just too hight, especially in italy, i mean, 50 to become president?? how stupid is that?
