US: Bill of Rights Day
According to The New York Times, reported on Sunday, December 11th, 2005, newly disclosed email messages from the FBI include some which bemoan the "radical, militant librarians" who resist releasing their records for terrorism investigations. "Radical, militant librarians" is a concept I have a lot of trouble getting my brain around. By "radical" and "militant," do they mean librarians who still believe that the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution actually means something?
