US: Man Faces New Charges In Teen-Alcohol Case
A Des Moines man charged with providing alcohol to a group of North High students appeared in court Friday to face new charges. Rickey Stanley, 40, faces charges of providing alcohol to a minor causing serous injury.
Police said Stanley provided the alcohol to a group of North High School students.
One of the students, 16-year-old Heather Stewart, had a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit and was treated at a hospital, according to investigators.
