Youth with toy gun' says ёdon't ignore the poor'

PATNA, Feb. 16. - A youth armed with a toy pistol intruded into the bungalow of a senior Bihar minister claiming that he broke in to tell him that the poor should not be ignored.

The 22-year-old masked youth, who identified himself as Balbir, entered the residence of Building Construction and Housing minister Monazir Hasan by scaling the wall around 1.30 a.m. today.
The youth pointed his pistol at a sentry who challenged him and demanded that he be taken to the minister's bedroom. But the sentry fired a couple of shots and overpowered the youth whose weapon turned out to be a toy gun.

When contacted, Hasan said: "I am stunned." - PTI
