Why do I hate school?
It's okay to hate school: There is nothing wrong with you.

This is a support site for students who can't stand being forced to go to school. We are not telling you to drop out, rebel or do anything in particular. What you do is your decision and yours alone, we can just provide support and information for whatever choice you may make. What works for one person won't necessarily work for everyone. The point is: the choice is yours to make. And if, for whatever reason, other people refuse to let you make that choice, you will always find someone here willing to listen to you.
14 Good Reasons why School Sucks & Things I Hate About School:
- School sucks because if you don't like it, most people automatically think there's something serious wrong with you.
- School ruins learning. In school, learning is all about memorizing things, answering questions, and writing loads of crap on topics you don't care about.
- Because you're forced to go there, and if you want to try some other alternative, you need to get parental permission first. School is essentially pointless forced labour without pay.
- It sucks because people expect you to treat school as the most important thing in your life. Nevermind what you'd rather be doing.
- School sucks because once you're done, you'll probably forget 90% of what you "learned" there and burn all your books anyway. All you'll be left with is a diploma stating that you survived 12 years of hell. And very few people (besides your parents) will even want to look at it.
- Because talking to your friends is a crime at school.
- It sucks because even if you're bored out of your mind, you'll still get all the blame for not participating in class.
- School suppresses independent thought - if you disagree with the teacher, you're in trouble. If you dare to think of a new way to do something, it's automatically wrong.
- School sucks because if you do what they say and do all your work, you don't get time off - they'll just expect even more from you in future. And someone who cheats on their work and tests can just as easily do better than you.
- School sucks because life is short, and you'll never get that time back.
- School makes everyone around you panic over the smallest little things that none of them (or anyone else) will care about a few years down the line.
- Even when you go home, school invades your life by giving you homework as well.
- It sucks because even though school has all these problems, if you mention any of them, you'll be the one they blame, no matter how right you may actually be.
- School sucks because every now and then it does something useful for someone, and then everyone goes all "Look! That's proof that school is good for you!"... It's like getting free ice cream in hell - it just doesn't quite make up for all the other stuff.

I fucking hate school, you can't fucking learn anything by cramming shit you don't care about for 12 years. Then get tested on it non stop. Like we need to study the cell and all of it's atoms and shit for 5-6 years straight, non stop. Now I know that'll be important to future doctors and all that shit but goddamn! I don't care about no damn cell. Then the kids there, oh my gosh!!! They start drama for pure boredom and jealously. Fights, drama, boys. Ugh! That's why it's such a hell hole for me. And I don't care for my grades, the only people who gives a fuck about a letter is my parents and the teachers. I don't care, I really wish they'll just fuck off and leave me alone already. Like I don't care. I really don't you can't make me care, i'm not getting paid or anything so...I don't care.
I hate school. And if anyone else bullied me in school, I would slit their throats, rip out their hearts, and feed them to the wolves.
School is a shitty place. Glad I'm homeschooled now. I got expelled for breaking a window by throwing a god damn chair at it. That fucking place was fucked up as hell.
School fucking sucks. they shouldn't exist, they teach us bullshit we dont need, the school employees are weird assholes, people should learn from reading dictionaries and listening to audio tapes, Hopefully after Jesus Christ returns from the dead he will change every boring school employees mind to hate even stepping foot in a school, because it's useless bullshit learning we humans dont need for jobs anyways, so one jesus hopefully will destroy those headache giving shitty schools and they never will be created ever again !!
School is so fucking retarded, why the fuck do we have to learn math equations when the cashiers machine cashiers have at a job where theres more stores in the world than schools, have a calculator on it to add and subtract anyways, it's a useless subject. and most subjects in school are completely fucking useless, so fuck school, Again Jesus will return from the dead and change school workers personalities to hate schools just like i fucking do, Not to mention its much more funner for people to spend time with there friends and girlfriend / boyfriend in society like going to alcohol pubs to spend time drinking, and sports arenas, and the beach compared to that boring shithole of a school building.
Also, i think college is fucking stupid as well, why the fuck does someone have to go to college for 4 boring years to Just to learn to use a knife and remove something from someones insights and eventually show society that there a certified doctor with a retarded phd, it's fucking retarded, people should just read books about surgery and medical info from amazon.com. and to go to college to be a school teacher, that's also very insane and retarded. All schools shouldn't exist period !!!
And the very reason why we have books on so many Adult job subjects is the Ultimate reason and alternative why we shouldn't have any type of schools Period. One day All schools destroyed, That would Be an awesome day. God will give us that day, oh he so much will, Thank God when that happens !!
If you think USA school is bad, you must see school in Poland. For example we must read book "Doll" witch had 900 pages!!! The half of polish lesson are about grammar and interpunction. We can learn english for 12 years but most people from poland still can't speak good english. That is sad...(sorry for all mistakes)

Do teachers understand that we DON'T TAKE JUST THEIR CLASS. Like seriously we have other classes. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to complete the 50 homework questions last night because I HAVE 4 OTHER TEACHERS FOR DIFFERNT CLASSES THAT ASSIGNED 50 QUESTIONS AS WELL." They also can't get it into their thick skulls that yeah, we don't get, sorry we don't have freaking majors in this stuff like ya'll do. And why should I learn chemistry? The only reason I would ever use it is if I'M GOING TO TEACH CHEMISTRY. It literally only exists for itself...
School sucks especially the one I go to now. They make you do useless s###! Stuff u learn is useless. What makes it worse is that parents love it. Teachers are a hassle and act like teaching is student discipline, our parents should correct us!

As a 23 year old adult and having been out of school for 6 years, I can safely say everything I learnt from year 8 upwards, I have never used nor did I learn any valuable life lessons at school. I feel like so many years of my life that I could’ve spent working towards my passion, were wasted in a classroom, learning shit I was never going to use, getting in trouble for not studying those things I was never going to use and getting up early and disrupting my teenage sleeping pattern which I was suffered the side effects of sleep deprivation that all teenagers do. I have nothing positive to say about school. Primary school was ok and it did teach me essential things but highscool up, taught me nothing. I have a good paying career now and I could’ve had it years ago if I hadn’t have to do school. Every life lesson like doing taxes, running a business, being a good person, I learnt that outside of school so what the fuck is school teaching you? Nothing! Pointless algebra, linear functions and writing essays about books you’ve read. Children need to be educated, but they need to be taught things that are relevant to their lives but they also need more freedom. You wonder why kids are becoming more rebellious and why they are drinking and doing drugs at earlier and earlier ages? Because they are fucking sick of being confined with zero freedom! You give kids more freedom and start teaching them things that are important (but doing it in a way that doesn’t involve sitting down and not being active) they are more likely to appreciate education!

High school is actually a fucking shithole. I haven’t gotten a good night sleep in forever because I have so much goddamn homework and I’m so burnt out from working that I don’t even have any motivation to do work anymore. We’re forced to attend classes for 7 hours 5 days a week only to be assigned between 3-5 hours of work to do at home every day as well. I haven’t been able to pursue any hobbies of my own because I’m so focused on only doing school work. I education system is so fucked up and I can’t wait to graduate and dip the fuck out of high school forever. I also don’t even have any desire to learn anymore; my only focus is to shortcut the fuck through everything because actually understanding the concepts takes too much time and there literally aren’t enough hours in a day to go to school, do your homework, participate in extracurricular activities, and get a decent night’s sleep. It doesn’t help that there’s so much pressure on grades because even one bad grade can permanently fuck your future because your gpa is gonna drop a fuck ton of points, and bad gpa means you’re not gonna get accepted into a good college, which means you’re gonna be a fucking failure for the rest of your life. I’m so fucking stressed and unmotivated but I can’t stop working or else I’m fucked for life. Someone please fix this fucking shithole we’re basically using the same education system as we were 100 years ago. We shouldn’t be being trained to be fucking mindless slaves who do nothing but follow prefers and memorize useless information. We should actually be learning how to do shit that’s gonna be relevant for our future. Also fuck APUSH that class is fucking shit. Anyways if you haven’t started high school yet get ready for the 4 shittiest years of your life that consist of nothing but stress and self-hatred. Yeah that’s about it fuck high school and now I have fucking hours of homework to do as usual peace. 😎
After elementary school, you learn almost nothing that will prepare you for the outside world! It wasn’t until I left school that I started to learn all the things that school should’ve been teaching to being with!
Second of all, kids and adolescents need sleep and have a very specific brain clock. Teenagers brains are designed to fall asleep around 12-1am, and wake up around 9-10am. School completely disrupts this sleep cycle and creates chemical imbalances in the brain and development issues.
Kids crave freedom like all adults. When an adult is forced to do something they never had a choice in doing, they are either gonna rebel against it or do a poor job of it. Why is it somehow okay to force a child into a prison like environment, restrict all their freedom and creativity, and punish them if they don’t comply with something they never wanted to do in the first place?
Family arguments over kids refusing to do homework or getting bad grades, is a cause of depression, unemployment, suicidal tendencies, the list goes on. Telling kids they aren’t going to succeed unless they endure 12 years of hell, learning crap they are never going to use, how is that exactly preparing them for life?
Why we have ignorant idiots who support white supremacy, racism, homophobia and sexism? Because we don’t educate our children properly and they learn these idiotic beliefs and prejudices from their ignorant parents or our pathetic politicians. Why not teach children how to be respectful, how to be accepting of LGBTQ and religious people, how to run a business, how to write a cheque, the value of money, how to budget, how to pay bills, how to be a good citizen, global warming research on how to fix our dying planet?
Instead you’d rather teach them algebra, linear functions, calculus and trigonometry, even though it’s virtually pointless unless that kid wants to become a math teacher.
Kids need to be educated, but educated about things they are going to use in life. Especially encouraging them to care about the environment so that we can lean up the mess that the teacher’s generation made of the earth we now have to live in!

every day i have to be trudging through a kids prison with about 1000 other kids. Id rather starve myself to death to not eat the garbage that they give us. I cant use the bathroom when i need to and thats why i peed myself about 100 times in my time. My teachers hate me and i hate them. I try to be the best student but they just get me in trouble on purpose at this point. I come every day with a positive mind set but it madly crushed by the end of the day. My first grade teacher hated me so much that she had to come back for me in the fith grade. MOst of the things they teach are completely and utterly uselass. Yes, school really does suck, it shows all the reasons right here, I hate how teachers make such a big deal of the tiniest things. For example, I somehow got a thing teachers use called ClassDojo where teachers have all the kids on ClassDojo, and I hated that without my permission. Then I decided to use my teachers as my students. Then one of my teachers saw that and gave me a 20 minute lecture about it. School really does suck
I mean what I am trying to say is that teachers are making such a fucking big deal over the tiniest things, plus, homework is really bad as well. We already go to school for 8 fucking hours then they give us homework which takes like 4-5 hours so that equals 12-13 hours. And the other hours for sleeping.
Normal School is bad but during COVID, it is even worse. When you have your mask down for just a second to take a breath because you can't breathe, The Teacher yells PUT YOUR MASK ON STOPID CHILD. THE MASKS KEEP YOU SAFE FROM COVID. But the reason we are getting less cases is the vaccine. Teachers keep telling you "These are the best years of your lives". I'd rather sit down doing nothing then school. The only thing I like about school is certain games in P.E. Not doing a mile run cause those suck. I mean doing sport sports like football, soccer, kickball, etc. The list goes on about school. Plus, the school makes you wear fucking masks outside.

Part 2 is the next day where I walk into the classroom to give her my laptop and she yelled at me that I was makking a huge deal over the game. Srsly she was the one making a bigg deal. I dunno wut she talking about. Then I asked her what teachers she told about the incident and she said one teacher and i know who it was. But during 7th period, I heard her tell another teacher (this is the lie) and I even asked her if she told her about the incident. SHE ADMITED MY TEACHER SAID THAT.
